Forged Unit Frames: Unit Frames, Cast Bar and XP Bar for Godot 4

Forged Unit Frames adds unit frames, a cast bar and an XP bar to a Godot 4 game. The browser demo above runs a small fight you can interrupt, push back and level up in.

Set a few properties and the frames animate on their own:

Features:

• Unit frames for the player, target, target-of-target, party and bosses, with a portrait, name, level, health and an optional resource bar.
• Health bars glide to new values and leave a strip that drains away, so players can see how much damage they took. Portraits flash on a hit.
• Elite, rare and boss rims and tags. Dead, out-of-range and selected states.
• Compact and mirrored layouts, hover tooltips, and a clicked signal for targeting.
• A cast bar for casts and channels, with the spell icon, time left, interrupts, pushback, and a separate look for casts that can't be interrupted.
• An XP bar with tick marks, rested XP, a tooltip and level-up handling with your own XP curve.
• Two skins, Forged Iron and Moonsilver, shared with Forged Hotbar.
• Commented GDScript source, a test script and support for web exports.

Works alongside Forged Hotbar: both use the same skins and tooltips.

Requires Godot 4.4 or newer. Works with the Forward+, Mobile and Compatibility renderers, including web exports.

Licence: you can use it in any number of personal or commercial games. You can't resell it as an asset. The fonts are SIL OFL and the demo's icons are CC BY 3.0 (credit details are included)
